Q Do you just perform at weddings?
A No, we do all kinds of parties (anniversaries, birthdays, naming days etc) and corporate events ("Jazz In The Forest" for Centerparcs, employee awards ceremony for Kelloggs, riverboat party for Coca-Cola etc).
Q We're having a DJ for the dancing so we'd just need you to play jazz. Would that be OK?
A Absolutely! (We don't provide DJ's though, you have to book your own.)
Q Do you provide your own PA/soundsystem?
A Yes we do, and it's suitable for most average-sized function rooms/halls. If you're getting married in the Albert Hall we might need to hire in a bigger one.
Q Do your prices include travel and accommodation costs?
A Yes, and we don't charge VAT.
Q What does the band wear?
A Whatever fits in with your dress code - DJs (black tie), suits or smart stage wear.
Q How much space does the band need to play in?
A 3m x 3m approx for the trio, more is good for the bigger bands.
Q How long does the band take to set up?
A About 45 minutes - a bit longer if there are lots of stairs or access is tricky. If your party is already underway we will set up with the minimum of disruption to you and your guests.
Q Do we need to allow food for the band?
A Yes, you need to provide food and drink for each band member. And we need somewhere to change.
Q Can you play recorded music in between when the band is playing?
A Yes, we have a selection of jazz/soul/funk tracks we can put on, or you can give us a compilation you've put together for the occasion.
