The jazz standards of the Great American Songbook are tailor-made for weddings. Our bands create a wonderfully happy and romantic atmosphere after your ceremony during the drinks and photos or during the wedding breakfast.
For corporate events like a networking evening or business launch, having some live jazz in the background is a real icebreaker - no more awkward silences!
Jazz Duo (female vocals/piano)
Our Jazz Duo consists of a female singer and a pianist. It requires a fairly small space and has a compact portable PA system. The band plays mellow swing (The Way You Look Tonight), laid-back latin bossanovas (Girl From Ipanema) and bluesy jazz (Gee Baby Ain't I Good To You).
Jazz Trio(female vocals/piano/drums or sax)
Our Jazz Trio is the duo plus your choice of either sax or drums. Sax makes it jazzier! Drums makes it swingier! The trio plays swing jazz (eg My Baby Just Cares For Me), latin jazz (eg Mas Que Nada), a bit of blues (Stormy Monday) and also some acoustic mellow soul (Put Your Records On, Warwick Avenue).
